About Mexico

Mexico
The Dominican Republic is fast becoming one of the most travelled-to resort destinations by Canadians. Sugar-soft white-sand beaches, fantastic year-round climate, excellent snorkelling and well-preserved colonial towns combine to make it one of the most popular destinations in the Caribbean.

Punta Cana

Punta Cana is basically a small hamlet with a few hotels, but the name has come to be used for the whole tourist area on the east coast from Uvero Alto in the north, El Macao, Arena Gorda, Bávaro, El Cortecito, Cabeza de Toro all the way to Cap Cana to the south. Punta Cana has beautiful long white beaches and palms, sprinkled with top-class resorts and fun holiday resorts.

Punta Cana has long been a vacation hotspot for two decades thanks to the incredible climate and fantastic beaches. Throughout the year Punta Cana has an abundance of sunshine and warm sea temperatures of around 26 °C (78 °F). Many vacationers consider the winter season with its cooler temperatures to be the best time to visit Punta Cana. The precipitation and humidity are relatively low during the winter as well.

Vacationers who prefer higher temperatures for their break in Punta Cana, should consider taking their holiday between May and October, though September is the most active for hurricane related storms (though the hurricane itself is unlikely to hit Punta Cana). During the summer, temperatures rise in Punta Cana above the 30 °C (86 °F), with an average of nine hours high sun per day. There may be daily showers which clear the air and give a moment away from the intense heat, but it does not disrupt your holiday.
